O da...I work in a shop with a frieghtliner dealer. O day a new freightliner pulling one of those generators was having engine trouble and the thing stayed on our yard a couple of days. Like you I past at least one every day on I-10 headed west. So I asked the driver what that crazy thing was and he told me. The weight he knew because it's a pemit load.
